One Who Understands

If you've ever felt like the people you care most for don't or can't value you in the same way, it hurts! You're not alone. Job said "My relatives have failed, And my intimate friends have forgotten me." (Job 19:14) Those moments can have you running between emotional extremes--feeling worthless or being mad at the felt betrayal. 2 Points here: 1-give people the benefit of the doubt. They are probably overwhelmed with life and don't know how to talk about it, especially if they're really broken themselves. 2-God wants to use this time to remind you about how HE feels for You: David understood that he was the desire of God's heart and wrote "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:17-18. Blessings on you as your heart breaks today. There is ONE at least, who understands.
